Roller Hutt Riders Speed Team The Riders Speed Team was born in 1991. In the beginning, the team raced quad speed skates only, and inlines started to make their way in a few years later.

The first generation Riders Speed Team contained 28 skaters, practiced 2-3 times a week, and traveled the state of Ohio to compete in tournaments. Coached by Gary Haney Sr., Jason Dlugokecki, Craig Dlugokecki, and Fred Fortney, the team continued on for several years until the league started to phase out quad speed skating. ed Team under the coaching of Jason and Gary. We want the new generation to have the experience we had as a team back in the 90's! All of us started out as novices (ok, so NOT Jason!) so anyone can come and try it out! Be part of a team that actually CARES about YOU! On the Riders Speed Team, you will never sit on the bench, and that is a promise! Come on down, you won't regret it! Practices are held on Mondays:
Mostly Inlines 5:00-6:00
Mostly Quads 6:00-8:00

Fridays:
Mostly Inlines 4:30-5:00
Mostly Quads 5:00-7:00

Fees are $5 each practice, monthly rates and family discounts available. Each skater MUST wear a helmet (bike helmet is fine), NO EXCEPTIONS. We have a couple extras to borrow if you don't have one. Skates are provided if needed. Be part of something fun and healthy! Speed skating is a GREAT way to burn calories. Also, if you choose to compete, you will have the opportunity to travel a little as well! :)

Practice starts this Monday 6:00-8:00pm. $5.00 per person. This is primarily a quad practice. If you have quads we ask that you skate on them. In lines will be allowed if that is all you have.
