Two Stack Crucifix XRW jump at Skydive San Diego on a sunset with smokes!
That jump was very epic for us. We started training for it the day before and even though we got it a few times we knew we need to do our best and get a little bit of luck to get the formation with the smoke and the sunset, but we did and we were beyond stoke for it!
Brad Geary was flying on the top of the canopy stack with Luca Ferreira been at the bottom. Been on top Brad’s main job is to navigate the formation for our discuss pattern while keeping the stack smooth avoiding oscillation. Luca on the bottom is setting up for the docks and keeping balance with the wingsuits. Ryan Blunk flies his wingsuit on his back and gets the surf dock. So he’s a very important part of this formation because once the surf dock is on, we get better speeds and angle of attack with the stack, so that helps to the other wingsuiters to come in for the hand dock.. On the sides we had Craig Lambton and Alex Tran flying on their backs getting the hand dock first and then they switched positions with Halei’wa Price and Dane Klippel at some point before break off who were flying outside of the formation. On the camera moving from above and bellow the piece was Ted Chen who helped with the outside view.
