Today wraps up the 2025 season for us, 46 straight days of deer hunting, thousands of trail camera pictures gone threw, 100s of deer seen, and lots of memories made, we had 11 hunters in camp this year and killed 7 awsome deer, 3 missed and 1 wounded. We had 100% shot opportunity this season, and have a lot of great deer still on camera that made it threw, also a lot of very good 2 and 3 year olds that will be Awsome deer next season. We have a few spots for bow and rifle available for 2026 and are already filling spots for 2027, each year we plan on trying to add 1-2 new leases, we picked up a AWESOME new piece for next season and have a few fellers out for a few other pieces. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. Thank you to everyone who trusted me to put you on a trophy deer this season and we are already looking forward to next season!

Bruce’s buck from opening morning, was a very action packed 45 minutes! A hunt that I’ll never forget, I think I was more excited than him! Congrats again Bruce on a deer of a lifetime, look forward to having you back in camp.

Welcome back to Kansas Mark! Whe he rolled into camp we looked through the cameras and this one stood out, he wanted him. We got him into position opening day, camera was showing deer all day long for 6 days straight. Not one deer came out that day, when he got back to camp we talked and said it was just a matter of time before he comes out. Thursday morning it was 14 degrees and we had this buck walk across the road about a 1/2 mile from the stand going into the property as we were dropping him off, he hurried up and got settled in, 5 minutes after shooting light he showed up at 32 yards! He put the muzzleloader to work and watched him tip over.

Welcome back to Kansas Bruce! We had multiple encounters with this buck during bow season but always zigged when we zagged, but not this time! I was sitting with Bruce in one of are box blinds opening morning of rifle and we had 17 deer come threw in 45 minutes, 6 bucks. 1 other shooter slipped threw and we passed a really good 8, 10 minutes later this 163 1/8” slammer stepped out and the rest was history.

Another hunter got to join me and Bruce (300 win mag bullet from yesterday) for breakfast this morning, that only means one thing! When we get some time we will post some photos of 2 awesome deer! 2 rifle hunters left with 4 shooters daylighting. Just a matter of time

Who else like BIG 8s? We sure do. Have 4 rifle hunters showing up Tuesday, 7 spots baited, left 2 cameras on while I was gone and these are a few that walked by, every spot had 200-300 lbs of corn put out and is was all gone. Cold front is here to stay and hoping these bucks keep doing what they’ve been doing and it’s gonna be a good week!

Welcome back to Kansas Max! Max hunted with us the first week and had a couple misses, he got ahold of us and asked if we had any availability for the 3rd week and we did! Short plane ✈️ flight from maine and he was back in camp. First day back in the stand he had a lot of action, 7 bucks and a few does. This 10 point come threw checking scrapes and was about to jump the fence into our bean field when Max got a shot at 30 yards, he hit a little far back so we decided not to track, went in this morning and he was 40 yards from the shot site. Congrats on your biggest buck!

I’ve told many clients that if you can’t shot them rite threw the lungs or heart and you can hit guts to go ahead and shoot, just stay away from the shoulder. 99% of gut shot deer die, they run a short disantance and bed down, and long as you tell us you hit them back we just go in 12 hours later to track and find your deer.
