What a season the girls of Ascent 10U had. A year of growth, development, and friendship. These ladies worked their tails off, and boy did they impress us all. Their Nationals journey ended yesterday, a bit shorter than they had hoped- but the end of one heck of a season.

7 tournament championships, 2 tournament finalists, peaking at 15th in USSSA National Ranking, and USSSA PA State Champions.

We would like to thank our amazing coaches (Mike, Allison, Jeff, and Sarah), the best parent group ever, and our sideline siblings who were with the team every step of the way.

Finally, to the girls - you are remarkable. Your work ethic, commitment, and sportsmanship are second to none.

Due to the weather, we awarded our belt from the First State Firecraker at practice this week. This week’s belt went to our leadoff hitter, who coming back from a broken thumb delivered her 100th strikeout of the season this weekend. She is also extremely consistent at the plate, always hitting the ball hard and getting on base. Let’s hear it for Viv!

Tonight our 10U girls had their last regular practice before Nationals. It has been an amazing year for these girls, with 6 tournament championships (including PA State Champs) and 2 Tournament Finalists! Beyond the success on the field, every girl on this team has grown immensely- enhancing their offensive and defensive skills, softball IQ, and sportsmanship. This team is special, and we would like to thank our coaches, parents, softball siblings, and each girl on the team for their dedication, hard work, and positive attitude.

We have off this weekend, but these girls are pumped for Nationals. Let’s go Ascent 10U!
