Congrats to COB’er and LLSWS champion Scarlett Cerda who set a new exit velo PR of 65 mph off of the tee. Scarlett consistently sat 63 mph which was her old PR. That’s four mph faster than where she was hitting consistently some months ago.

So awesome to work with hitters like Scarlett who gets after it every week and pushes herself in and out of our lesson sessions.

Top hand work is important for hitters.

It’s the accelerator.

Along with the back hip, the top hand is huge.

Let your bat head whip fast through the zone.

Generates a lot of power along with a driven back hip.

Abbey, a seventh-grader at Archer Lodge MS, is one of the best and most talented hitters around. She is strong and finds a lot of barrels. Abbey will continue to grow as a hitter as she continues to work hard.
