Good afternoon, everyone! ❤️

I know there hasn’t been much interaction on this page lately, but please know that we are still keeping the vision alive!

For those who may not know, last December, Shirley—the founder and visionary behind this initiative—experienced the heartbreaking loss of both her beloved aunt, who lived with her and for whom Shirley was the primary caregiver, and then her father shortly afterward.

With such tremendous loss, and the unexpected passing of her dad, Shirley’s world was turned upside down. As a result, some things needed to be adjusted, postponed, and rescheduled.

Because of this, The Recipe Co-Lab will not host an event this year. However, we are honored to continue the mission by joining forces to help honor the memory of Audra “Nikki” Groce Jackson, and we would absolutely love for you to join us in supporting this important cause! 💜

Wow!!!! Look how time flies! We are 7 days away from the race❤️ We have had some setbacks, and even some minor challenges, but hey what good thing doesn't! This race is more than just a race, its about honoring Audra's legacy, and so because of that, the race shall go on! We would like to thank all of our participants, sponsors, and volunteers that have come alongside of us to ensure this event would happen. We would also like to thank everyone that has supported this initiative from the beginning! We can't wait to see you there, and it's not too late to still join us! See you guys soon!!

Meet the face behind the race ❤️

Shirley Banks Scott is the CEO and Founder of The Recipe Co-Lab

This race means a lot to her, not because Audra was her sister in love, but because she wanted to do something to honor her legacy, bring awareness, and keep her name alive.

Audra was a "Fit Queen," and she always encouraged people to be healthy, and to MOVE!
