Golf Course Update - 6/12/2026

PUMP HOUSE/IRRIGATION

Not sure I'm going to do this update any justice, but here it goes...

Our pump house, while not at 100%, is now operational for the first time since the end of the 2024 season! What this means going forward as the system is ramped up to full power...

- far less maintenance staff hand-watering greens all hours of the day
- far more complete-course irrigation, particularly fairways

We certainly expect there to be some minor bumps in the road as we head back toward a full irrigation system. But we are well along that road.

What do we need from the golfers?

Understanding and patience. All areas of the course will be watered frequently, including during daily play- the course needs a good drink. Thank you!

WEATHER UPDATE - Friday, May 15th

Friday play and cart availability at Gardner Golf Course will be determined Friday morning. It is quite possible that we may start the day WALKING ONLY and let carts go later in the day, so please call ahead to check. If we do let carts on the course, you will be expected to adhere to all directional ropes, stakes, and arrows to keep carts OUT of wet areas.

Additional information will follow as necessary.

Update of the WEATHER UPDATE

Thursday, May 14th

Gardner Golf Course is now CLOSED for the remainder of the day, Thursday, May 14th. Golf shop will remain open until 5PM and decisions about Friday course availability will be made at a later time.
