Good Morning.
This is an incredibly difficult post to write. It is with a heavy heart that Jim and I (Pam) have decided to step back from all volunteer activities at WGRGC including archery. We are unsure of the direction of the Club at this time but will transfer any and all youth archery information to anyone should the Club decided to continue the program and have qualified coaches/instructors (a USAA requirement). We truly enjoyed our time with the families during the Winter session and will always cherish those Tuesday nights! Thank you all for letting us be a part of their lives. We had our final indoor archery session of the winter/spring season on Tuesday. It has been an honor to be a part of these young archers lives ❤️ Thank you to the kids, the adults who brought them all winter, the Inglis and Babbin families for keeping the kitchen going, Gavin and Victoria for being there teaching the next generation. We look forward to the upcoming outdoor session! We will keep everyone posted when the start date will be. With Gratitude ~ Jim & Pam

A few weeks ago, our very own Gavin competed in the NFAA Indoor Sectionals. While he doesn’t spend much time talking about his archery achievements, I wanted to spend a couple of minutes to highlight such amazing accomplishments. He has spent several years contributing to the archery community and continues to do so helping us here at the Club. We are grateful to have him as part of the Youth Archery team!

Tonight the goal was to work on aim by finding the correct color and placement according to what was spun on the wheel along with becoming familiar with scoring.

Maine Archery Association 2026 Indoor State Championship is now in the books! Thank you to all those who braved the snow to join in the fun! There were many highlights of the day, seeing JV win his basket in the silent auction was one of them 🤣 We look forward to more MAA SOY competitions in the future and good luck to those heading to the scholarship shoot at Lakeside this Sunday!
