This trip started early—very early. We entered Yellowstone National Park right at 7:00 AM, with temperatures hovering around 24 degrees, and for a while, it felt like we had the entire park to ourselves.
Based on recent reports of increased activity, we set out with high hopes of spotting grizzly bears and wolves. While the wolves remained elusive this time, the day certainly didn’t disappoint.
We were fortunate to find three grizzlies, along with three coyotes, six red dogs (young bison), two moose, and several other interesting sightings along the way.
Like our last couple of trips into Yellowstone, our journey out of the park ended with snow falling—a fitting and beautiful close to another unforgettable day in the wild.
