Ginger Taniguchi Karate/Kardio+Robics

This class taught by Sensei Ginger Taniguchi is designed to learn self defense; improve physical and mental health; increase muscle tone, strength, and flexibility, lose weight, all in a high energy and fun workout environment. Ginger Taniguchi began her training in 1988 and earned her black belt under the late Shorin Ryu Karate Master Richard Rabago, in the latter serving as the senior instructor

until his passing. She is a graduate from Los Angeles Trade Technical College and California State University Dominguez Hills, and the mother of three children. Sensei Ginger has a background in human services, youth counseling, and special needs. She serves as the senior instructor for Sensei Lelagi “Butch” Togisala - Shorin Ryu Karate and instructor for Sensei William Christopher Ford’s - Kaizen Dojo, both in the lineage of Master Sensei Richard Rabago. Sensei Ginger also teaches children at the South Bay Faith Academy in Redondo Beach, CA. Sensei Ginger taught classes and private lessons for Camp Pendleton Marine Corp, Children and Family Services in Oceanside, CA. and, Progressive Martial Arts, Special Needs classes in Yorba Linda, CA. Sensei Ginger loves teaching Karate. However, her passion belongs to her Special Needs Karate class “Inspire” and Karate Kario+robics class “KKR” where she teaches with her daughter, Sensei Jade Taniguchi. Along with her kids, she continues to train and improve her skills, and to grow as an instructor is her personal mission as a karate-ka. In 2013, Sensei Ginger was inducted into the Masters' Hall of Fame. Class Times:
