Golden Sierra Wrestling Families we need your help. FOGS is offering our program $200 if we can fill volunteer spots at the snack bar at Beam Field this summer. Our dates to fill are August 16, 17 and 18. These funds will help offset the cost for new singlet and warm up uniforms for the upcoming season. PLEASE PLEASE sign up if you can!!!

Our Grizzlies competed in the CIF Sections Friday and Saturday and did our school proud. We took 6 wrestlers. 5 of the wrestlers moved on to compete day two. Of the the 5, 4 of them medaled/placed and 3 of those 4 will be moving on to Masters!!!! Our little school as a whole placed 12th out of 36 schools. This team is a force to be reckoned with and we are proud of all of them.

Here are the results by weight class:

120 Landon Howard, 4th place, moving on to masters
132 Luke Gross, 5th place
145 Logan Gross, 4th place, moving on to masters
170 Bryan McCoard 1st place, moving on to masters

Congratulations to our Grizzly Wrestlers!!! They hosted the Sierra Delta League Finals on Friday and came out the 2019-20 League Champions. Here are the results of that amazing day!!!

Today our Grizzlies competed in the Corning Invitational Tournament and had an outstanding day. All our Grizzlies worked hard. Congratulations to:
Bryan McCoard, 2nd Place
Landon Howard, 5th Place
Brennen Howard, 7th Place
Logan Gross, 7th Place
Out of 39 teams our Grizzlies placed 13th overall.

TOURNAMENT INFO FOR THIS WEEKEND:
Saturday, December 14
Location: Cordova High School
Weigh ins: 7 am
Wrestling starts at 9 am
This tournament is for JV and Varsity. Follow the signs to the weigh in area. We will meet at the weigh in area and weigh in as a team.
