For those interested

Summer runs for 5th through 12th grade begin this week

Monday through Thursday 8:00 through 9:00 AM

For all of June, we will meet at GCHS on the north side by the Glass point

Despite the cold to finish our last meet of the season still many great performances your coaches thought you all competed tremendously.

Even with the weather, we still had some PR‘s and finished the season with two more record-breaking performances.

Javier Lozano broke his own record in 400m by 0.6 seconds setting the new mark at 54.36

The girls 4x4 relay team of Kambrie Newby, Ava Espino, Ayana Arteaga, and Brynlie Sekavec broke the record from 2024 by almost 7 seconds running a 4:37.61

Great job on your performances!

Wednesday one last get together for medals from the last 3 meets. Right after school in the gym.
We should be done by 3:30pm

Just to be sure anyone has any last moment questions going into tomorrow. ??

I will say parking might be interesting so be prepared for that

Have everything ready tonight, have everything and a change of clothes.

Pack lunch for the day or your parents are welcome to bring you something.

Be at HGMS by 7:30 am
Doors open at 7:20 am

Another good day on the track, beautiful weather and the results weren’t far behind that. Lots of PRs in events for athletes and also we had another record broken. The 4x2 record from 2019 went down with a time or 1:38.83 a little over 2 seconds, with the team of Stevens Adrien, Danilo Del Toro, Israel Alvarado and Javier Lozano

Tuesday, those I talked to about helping wear warm clothes even gloves. It’s going to be a cold day to start.

Those going be at HGMS by 7:30 am
Remember athletes you will turn in your uniform before leaving with Coach Algrim athletes need to be picked up at GCHS. The high school meet will be going on after our meet

Names in blue will not be competing but some will be asked to go help at the meet so they will still travel with us Tuesday morning.

Those going be @ HGMS by 6:35 am
Doors open @ 6:25 am

Have everything packed and ready to go, those who are competing for the last time you need to have a change of clothes after your race you will turn in your uniform and if you rented sweats before getting on the bus, no exceptions.

Pack food and enough water for the day

Practice for all those going to WAC Tuesday
3:00-4:30pm

Those going to Ulysses if you’re back early you can still go to practice your field event coaches will be there if you want to work a little bit more. Relays need to practice handoffs.
