Hey everyone!
I took a few months off from duck call making; got a little burnt out do to some personal things. But this week I am going to be starting on some new calls and I still have some for sale as well.

This hunt sealed the deal for me as a duck hunter. This lake is known as Montrose Lake near the town of Montrose, MO. The hunt was phenomenal, I enjoyed every minute of it with 2 buddies of mine. The hunt was a draw to get into to and we got the best of 2 blinds. At the time of the hunt there was nothing known of the situation that was to come of the lake. 4 years later the power plant closed and the in next few months they started draining the lake and the last picture is the lake to the nearest form as it sits today. Empty with vegetation and stumps everywhere, no word on if it will ever be a lake again. Maybe one day in the future it will be another great place to hunt again. One can only hope! What do you say ?
