It was great to see this fine group of humans on the course this morning! There were a total of 14 that took advantage of great weather and fellowship. We plan to do this Saturday mornings for a while - come join us anytime you can!

It was a perfect morning for a round: 69 degrees at 8:00,a light breeze and moderate cloud cover. Hats off to Phillip Bustamante for parking this 308 ft drive on 15 - and for many coaching moments during the round. Everybody wins when seasoned players help school the new guys.

We had a little rain last night, which was great. Fun fact: Wikipedia says
that to cover 24 acres with water to a depth of 1 inch, the required volume of water is approximately 7,840,800 gallons.
That’s a single 1” rain on the disc golf course. To nerd out all of the way, that dark little cloud would have to carry 65,392,272 lbs of water in the air from wherever it came from before it bestowed it on us.
Let that sink - or soak - in for a minute. We could use one of those, so a little prayer for 8 million gallons of rain water out at the course would be helpful. 😁💦

The volunteers have the course spiffed up and spent time over the past two days mowing and hauling water for the greens....

The volunteers have the course spiffed up and spent time over the past two days mowing and hauling water for the greens. Mornings the next few days are forecast to be in the 60s and 70s. Best time to play all day! See you on the course!
