Wanted to start a post on class discussions / racing format for next season

Trying to offer more variety and limit down time.

Current Classes. No rule changes except truck limit
ProMod Shafty - 2 truck limit
ProMOA (Clod, Reactor) - 2 truck limit
2.2" - 2 truck limit
Retro - 2 truck limit

Potential "New" classes. Work in progress rules.
SportMod - 2 truck limit. 17t non-altered brushed motors. Non-cut tires w/stock open cell foam inserts. No renegades, racers, outlaws, cheeses, etc.
Challenger - 2 truck limit. 540 size motors. Max 3100KV or 15t brushed motors. Tires - Golden Years, Firestorms, stock clod tires. Stock open cell foam or no foam inserts. Axle mounted shocks.

Racing Format:
Stay the same
Open Practice until 1pm then racing begins
or ???

Thank you to Excel RC and Hobbies for allowing us to hold our races at their shop. Thank you to all the racers for attending our events.

Points standings going into the final race. Remembe we will drop your lowest race day. In Pro 2.2 the system made the choice for us already. The month of January will be the drop day.

See you on April 18th for the the season final race.

Alright Monsters. Next race is Saturday March 21st. If you are proposing a new class for the 2026-2027 season please bring you written proposals w/ rules.

Track designs - Did we like the last track or do we like the seperate mirrored tracks?

Thank you to the winners and all of the drivers that made it out yesterday. It was standing room only! New faces and new trucks. It was awesome to see so many new people, and we had some great racing all day!!

I apologize for not taking as many pics and vids this time. Was busy talking to everyone there. It’s exciting to hear about the new builds on the way.

Next race in a month, make those repairs and get them trucks ready!
