What a day!!! Such an amazing turnout for our 2nd “Move for Melanoma” workout in support of
.
A little over 2 years ago I received news that nobody wants to hear. “You have Cancer” Metastatic Melanoma. After a few weeks of crying and feeling helpless I knew i had to take control and do my part to fight this. CrossFit Garden City my girl , my children my family gave me the strength to rise above and keep pushing through every recovery. May 8th 2019 breast surgery/ August 13, 2020 lung surgery and im still here pushing through. We are incredibly lucky to be able to move our bodies the way we do and if it weren’t for the amazing people in my life not sure id have the mental strength to come back again.
