Being a Fusion Parent Just Makes Sense πππ©΅
Being a Fusion parent means youβve accepted that your life now revolves around:
π± Talonβs announcements β usually important, sometimes last minute, always something you need to know. π
π Text Talon?
π Call Talon?
π± Send another text?
At this point, you already knowβ¦ heβll get back to you when he gets back to you. π (Or for our Dodge City parents- βIβll just text Paula!β
π₯ Kory coaching:
βWhy is he so intense?!β
β¦5 minutes laterβ¦
βOhhh. He just really wants them to get it.β πβ¨ππΌ
π₯Going to competition with a full car, full suitcase and everything your child could possibly needβ¦
and still somehow buying another DUCK.
We donβt make the rules. β¨π
ππ©΅ Packing for competition like youβre going on a 7-day vacation because apparently EVERYTHING must be purple and teal.
πΈ Tuition.
πΈ Uniforms.
πΈ Shoes.
πΈ Competition fees.
πΈ Hotels.
πΈ Gas.
πΈ Food.
πΈ Fundraisers.
πΈ Merch.
And then your kid says,
βMom, I need ___ for cheer.β
β¦and you just stare into the distance. π
π Driving hours for a βquick little cheer trip.β
π£ Losing your voice on Saturday and somehow finding it again on Sunday.
πΈ Taking approximately 500 pictures and getting maybe 3 that arenβt blurry. π
And somehow, through ALL of itβ¦
We show up.
We drive the miles.
We make the sacrifices.
We pack the bags.
We buy the ducks. π₯
We wear the purple and teal.
We sit in the stands.
We scream until we have no voice left.
And we watch our kids work, grow, push themselves and become something they never thought they could be.
Because weβre proud.
Proud of the work.
Proud of the growth.
Proud of the memories.
Proud of the kids we get to cheer for.
So yeahβ¦ maybe Fusion parents are a little tired, a little chaotic and probably a little too invested. π
But when itβs time to step up and say itβ¦
WE ARE FUSION! ππ©΅π£
And we wouldnβt have it any other way. π«ΆπΌ
