Around 6,000 km on a Hobie Cat 18 Magnum.

Pierre Gerbaud and Quentin Bapst are preparing Les Deux Bananes, an ambitious sailing project from Belle Île en Mer to Dakar.

Their Hobie Cat 18 is equipped with a Forward Sailing Hobie 17 & 18 Main Sail and Hobie Cat 18 Jib.

But this project goes beyond the distance sailed.

Along the route, Pierre and Quentin also want to create exchanges between schools and use the sea as a common thread to explore different environments, territories and cultures.

For Forward Sailing, it is also a concrete example of what we want to support: keeping iconic catamarans sailing and giving them new adventures.
