What an incredible weekend for the SJ Ospreys! 🥎💙💛
This past weekend, we hosted our very first home tournament, and the Beach Ball Bash was a huge success!
We want to start by thanking Woodbine for giving us this amazing opportunity and for supporting our program as we continue to grow. A special thank you to Woodbine Public Works for not only getting the park ready for the weekend, but also for making a special trip out Sunday morning to change out the trash bags. Those behind-the-scenes efforts made a huge difference, and we truly appreciate it!
Thank you to our coaches, who have worked tirelessly to get the fields ready and make this weekend possible. Your time, hard work, and dedication mean so much to our players, families, and organization.
Thank you to our umpires for braving the heat and keeping the games moving throughout the weekend. We appreciate you!
Thank you to the neighbors who came out to cheer our girls on, and to all of our players, families, and supporters who showed up, helped out, and filled the fields with so much energy and Ospreys pride.
A huge thank you to Rutgers University and Allison Amadio for coming out to catch our first pitch, helping us celebrate such a special moment at our new home fields, and taking the time to talk with our girls and take pictures with them. It meant so much to our players!

Thank you to Latin Infusions Food Truck for coming out and serving amazing food all weekend — and especially those candy specialty drinks! The kids and adults loved them!

We had some huge Ospreys moments this weekend:
🏆 14U came in 1st place!
🥈 12U came in 2nd place after an amazing 1–2 championship game!
💣 10U player Danae Rosario hit her first home run — and the very first Ospreys home run at our new home fields!
This weekend was about more than softball. It was about community, growth, teamwork, and celebrating how far this program has come.
