🌟⚾️ All-Star Diamond Debrief with 8u coach Josh Trudeau:
We captured the championship in impressive fashion with an 11–5 victory over Lafayette in Portland, Tennessee, putting together a complete team performance from the opening pitch to the final out. Our offense came alive with timely hitting, aggressive baserunning, and disciplined at-bats that kept pressure on Lafayette’s defense throughout the game. Defensively, we made the routine plays, came through in key moments, and supported our pitching with strong communication and teamwork. Even when Lafayette tried to build momentum, we stayed composed, answered with big plays of our own, and never let the game slip away. Every player contributed in some way, whether it was delivering a clutch hit, making a key defensive stop, or encouraging teammates from the dugout. The 11–5 final score reflected the effort, determination, and resilience our team showed all season, making the championship victory in Portland a memorable reward for our hard work and commitment to one another.

🌟⚾️ All-Star Diamond Debrief by the Gallatin 8U A-Team Coaching Staff:

What a week it was for the Gallatin Little League 8u A Team All-Stars.

In seven days, these boys played eight games and left it all on the field. Along the way, they earned run-rule victories over McCabe and Lebanon B, captured the Music City Classic Championship, and opened Area Tournament play with a 12-6 win over Smith County on their home field.

Our All-Star run came to an end Friday night against Lafayette, falling just short of advancing to the District Championship.

While the season didn’t end the way we had hoped, this group accomplished so much and represented Gallatin Little League with pride. These 13 boys showed tremendous talent, grit, and continued to compete no matter the circumstances. Their growth throughout the summer was remarkable, and the future is incredibly bright.

Championships are special, but watching these young players develop a love for the game, support one another, and grow as teammates is what youth baseball is all about.

A special thank you to our families, coaches, and sponsors for their support throughout this All-Star journey. We are proud of what this group accomplished and excited to watch these young men continue to grow both on and off the field.

🌟🥎 All-Star Diamond Debrief from 8u coach Ty Turner:
Gallatin 8U sanctioned all starts started pool play Monday against Smith County. The 7pm start was no problem for this team.

The girls showed grit and determination throughout the game. Our girls hit the cover off the ball. In the end it was Gallatin’s defense that won the game. A 2-3d double play in the final inning secured the win for Gallatin 13-12 over Smith County.

The 8U all-star team was back in action on Tuesday night with a game against Lebanon. Lebanon had scouted our team the night before and was prepared. In the third inning, Adriel S. took a line drive off the ankle in the pitcher’s circle. She was able to return to the game and get a base hit in the fourth. Gallatin rallied in the fourth but came up short in a loss to Lebanon.

Gallatin plans to play again on Monday in Lebanon.

10U All-Stars: A Season of Heart and Hustle
What a journey it’s been for our Gallatin 10U All-Stars! While our time in the tournament has come to an end, the memories made and the growth we’ve seen on the diamond are what truly matter.
The Highlights
The Lebanon Showdown: We kicked things off with a fantastic showing against Lebanon. The boys displayed some incredible pitching through the first half of the game, keeping us locked in a tight battle and showing exactly what they are capable of against tough competition.
Wednesday’s Fire: The team came out with serious energy on Wednesday! We saw some explosive hitting and dominant pitching early on that really put our talent on display. Although momentum shifted in the second half, the grit the boys showed was undeniable.
A Note of Pride
Though we didn’t advance to the district round this time, the scoreboard doesn’t tell the whole story. We are incredibly proud of every single one of these boys. They played with heart, supported each other through every inning, and represented Gallatin with true sportsmanship.
This All-Star run was about more than just wins and losses—it was about teamwork, learning how to battle through adversity, and leaving it all on the field. Coaches, parents, and fans, let’s keep our heads held high. These boys have bright futures ahead!

🌟🥎 All-Star Diamond Debrief from 10u Coach Jesse Herr:

The scoreboard doesn’t always tell the whole story. After a tough first game, where we fell 12-0, these girls showed exactly what All-Stars is about. They came back the next game with heart, toughness, and determination, battling a very good Smith County team and losing 6-3 in a game that was competitive from start to finish.

I could not be more proud with the way these girls responded. They played with confidence, fought for every out, and never quit. Defensively, we played a clean game without committing a single error, and offensively our bats were hot. More importantly, they played together, encouraged one another, and represented our community with class.

All-Stars is a challenge because you bring together players from different teams and ask them to become one in a very short time. These girls embraced that challenge. They worked hard, accepted coaching, supported their teammates, and grew with every practice and game.

🌟⚾️ All-Star Diamond Debrief with 12u coach Charlie Belote:
GLL 12u All-Stars Make A Run Against Smith County 12u All Stars But Fall Short.

GLL 12u All-Stars’s effort to come back from down four runs in the fifth inning came up just short, as they fell 7-6 to Smith County 12u All Stars on Wednesday. GLL 12u All-Stars closed the gap by scoring on a single and a single.

GLL 12u All-Stars got on the board in the first inning after Jake G grounded out, scoring one run.

A single by Walker J gave Smith County 12u All Stars the lead, 2-1, in the top of the second.

Greysen G walked, which helped GLL 12u All-Stars tie the game at two in the bottom of the second.

An error gave GLL 12u All-Stars the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the third.

Smith County 12u All Stars flipped the game on its head in the top of the fifth, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 7-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a grand slam to center field by Carson P that drove in four.

Chipper B led things off on the mound for GLL 12u All-Stars. The right-handed pitcher surrendered five hits and five runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking two. Job C stepped on the mound first for Smith County 12u All Stars. The pitcher surrendered two hits and two runs (one earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking four.

Chipper, Knox H, Cash K, Barrington S, Easton R, and Gavin H each collected one hit for GLL 12u All-Stars. Chipper went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in.

🌟🥎 All-Star Diamond Debrief with coach Tony Marino:
Gallatin 8U backyard all stars started bracket play Tuesday in Portland TN. A late 8pm start was ultimately overcome by large doses of sugar.

The girls were triumphant over a tough and determined Smith County squad. Our girls hit the ball extremely well, logging 16 hits over the course of the game. It was ultimately a defensive battle though. Our girls played as a team and fought hard for each other. Final score 5-3.

With the win on Tuesday, it was a quick turnaround for Wednesday night’s game with a previously unbeaten Red Boiling Springs Squad.

Again it was a defensive battle. With both teams logging solid hits but being held to single run innings by defensive play by both teams.

That changed in the top of the 3rd. After solid hits put 2 runners in scoring position, Remi Valentine hit a home run ball deep to the left field fence scoring 3 runs.

That would be the decisive blow, with Gallatin wining by a final score of 6-4.

Our team resumes play Saturday at 12pm in Portland for the tournament championship. It’s double elimination so our squad needs 1 win to take the title.

🌟⚾️ All-Star Diamond Debrief from 8u B Gold coach Josh Trudeau:
Monday, we played Hartsville hit very well and defensively played well and won 14 to 1.
On Wednesday we played red boiling Springs. It was challenged towards the end of the game but ended up pulling off a 7-5 win
On Thursday, we played Lafayette. We were down going into the fifth thing and pulled out a win 9-8.
On Friday, we played Portland and were hard charging to get the undefeated win, with that we pulled out a 15-5 victory over them.
