To solidify the bond I was creating, I decided to pursue a degree in the field. Therefore, in 2013 I graduated (with honors) from the University of Louisville (Go Cards!) earning my Bachelor's in Health and Human Performance, with a concentration in Exercise Science. I carry years of relevant education and experience, and therefore am more than capable of creating a fitness plan that will help you

reach your goals. Most plans primarily focus on exercise. However, to ensure the best results, my best advice would be to couple that with healthy eating habits. I will (of course) work with you to keep you on track and motivated to reach your goals and transition to a "new" you!

Sometimes I feel more like a photographer, but I absolutely love capturing my clients in their element. "A picture is worth a thousand words." Most of them (the pictures) could probably be translated into "this really does hurt!" But all I hear/see is "I'm dedicated! I'm motivated! I want to be held accountable, whether I feel like it (in the moment) or not!" So kudos to all those out there chasing your fitness goals. Do. Not. Stop!!

One of the (MANY) benefits of a low resting heart rate is training your heart to pump blood (and greater amounts of) with less energy/effort. One of the negative effects of a sedentary lifestyle (or one void of cardiovascular activity) is causing your heart to work MUCH harder to facilitate the same movement. This is when many people experience heart or blood related problems. Strength training is GREAT, but EVERYONE NEEDS to incorporate components of cardiovascular activity (be it brisk walking, jogging, running, swimming, rowing etc.). Be proactive! Don't wait until you have a cardiovascular related event to begin retraining your heart to become more efficient!
