Coastal Carolina Equestrian Team

The Coastal Carolina Equestrian Team is a team built on a passion for horses and traditional English riding skills. Our team is proudly all-inclusive and we accept any level and background of riding. Our barn is located only 20 minutes north of Coastal Carolina where lessons are offered once or twice a week on package deals. Our team of diverse horses and our experienced coach, Kristi Grigg, allows for a well-rounded riding experience. We also hold strictly educational lessons where we go over the importance of horse basics including anatomy, tack identification, and basic care for the horses. CCUET competes against rival schools in the South East including Clemson, USC, College of Charleston, and more in the Inter Collegiate Horse Show Association. We also attend horse shows at Hardee Lane, Tryon, Raleigh, and the South Carolina Equine Center. In 2016, we were named Club Sport of the Year at Coastal Carolina due to our dedication to strong relationships, hard work, and a sense of community. We consistently hold fundraisers, participate in philanthropic endeavors, and host team bonding activities. Our goal is to create a safe-space at the barn where you can overcome fear, bond with an animal, and make life-long friendships.
