WRSC is a diversified private sailing club located in lovely Galesville, Maryland, on the the West River which empties into the Chesapeake Bay. We welcome into our membership all sailors who are genuinely interested in sailing--those who own boats, those who do not, and beginners too. Our clubhouse and grounds occupy one of the most beautiful sites on the Bay. From modest beginnings over 90 years

ago we have grown into one of the most active sailing clubs on the Bay. We offer a complete range of friendly and relaxed sailing activities, learn to sail programs for youth and adults, as well as high caliber racing to suit all sailors.
