The Jr. Streaks end the season on the highest point possible…with 1st place! The streaks were in command all day long from dominant performances on the mound from Henry Ikrami, Colin Archer, and Bryce Courson. The Streaks were led offensively by everyone on the team but more importantly..Jason Peterson who went 4-6 with 4 Rbis on the day! The Streaks finish the season 31-21 with a 4-0 weekend! There is not enough words to describe how proud we are of these boys…all the yelling, running, and hard practices are for days like today where you put it all together and beat up on some great teams. Its a great ending as we began the season with a semifinal loss to the Cannons and we ended it with a championship game win over them. The future is bright for these boys and for Coach Pick’s program. Far from done with the work. Congrats boys!

The Streaks were able to pull off 2 wins today in two different fashions today. In game 1, the streaks had to work from behind down 3-1 early. After the Tigers took the lead in the top of the 6th the streaks were able to strike back with a triple from Henry Ikrami and a walk off double down the line by Gabe Irizarry to secure the 6-5 win. In game 2, it was all Streaks from the start as they jumped on top of sherrard 5-0 early and cruised to a 14-0 win. The streaks were led by a dominate pitching performance by Bryce Courson and a 6-7 game from Colin Archer and Gabe Irizarry.
The streaks have 2 games tomorrow…2 games left in the season and 2 games to win the championship. The 8th grade Streaks last year finished the year with 30 losses, tomorrow they have a chance for 30 wins as we are 29-21! One more day to find a way to get just a little bit better.

Overall a fantastic week for the JR Streaks. Starting off this morning in the gold bracket the Streaks were able to jump on quick and early and cruise to an easy 15-3 win against a former opponent in the Regulators. Later on in the semifinal the streaks bats went cold after a long day in the heat and rain and lost 9-1 to the Hitmen elite who have a great team.
Overall this weekend the Streaks went 3-1 to improve their record to 24-17! After this weekend this doubled the teams wins from last year from 12 to 24. As a team we finally broke .300 batting average at .303. This weekend has been nothing but great baseball for the streaks. With 2 tourneys left now all thats left is to win it all.

Great two days for the JR streaks to kick off the weekend.
Last night the streaks hung around until the bottom of the 6th when Gabe Irizarry stole home to walk the game off with a win 5-4.
Today in the second game of pool play the streaks bats came alive late in the game. As back to back home runs by Henry ikrami and Colin Archer tied the game at 6-6. And after an amazing bunt single by Will Kimmitt, the streaks were able to grab a 3 run lead and hold on to secure the win. A great first two games in our tournament with a big day tomorrow in the gold bracket. Come ready to attack the challenge.

Great weekend for the Jr streaks which got ruined by mother nature. Saturday we were able to go 1-1 with a victory 17-5 over Lancer and an 11-3 tough loss to the Dixon rebels. Sunday was a tough disappointment because of the weather as the streaks would have been moving on to the championship. But in the last inning the game was called due to rain which gave the Streaks a 9-4 win over the Rebels to avenge our loss last night. Overall though outside of the weather it was a great weekend of baseball for our boys. We continue to get better while challenging great opponents.

The streaks came up a bit short in the championship losing 13-9. Overall this was a great weekend of baseball for the boys, they came and did what they had to do and we couldn’t be more proud. Even the boys that could not be with us today had an amazing first two days and these 9 helped make up for their absence today. All 12 of these boys deserve to be in this position playing for 1st place. The next step is to win the whole thing. All-in-all the improvement of all of these boys should not go unnoticed. These boys have worked their butts off to get better at this game and they are competing with some great teams. I can’t wait for the next game.

Streaks are headed to the championship! A great battle with a familiar team. We were 0-2 to Lancer before today. We has an amazing offensive and pitching performance. Bryce Courson led with a 4-4 day and 3 rbis. Colin Archer threw a complete game win. We play at 5:10 pm in the Ship.

Today was as easy as it gets for the Streaks. The offense jumped on the back of Jack pickrel and cruised to an easy win and at least a 3 seed for sunday. Jack Pickrel went 4 innings 1 hit and only 41 pitches. He averaged 10 pitches an inning and had 1 3 pitch inning. Jack was fantastic and the offense backed him up with Bryce Courson going 3-3 with 3 rbis. The boys played fantastic but tomorrow is a new day with new opportunities.

Little behind but a great first two days to the weekend. The first game was a battle. We got down early but in the last inning all we told the boys was to give us a chance and thats exactly what they did.
In the 2nd game we picked up right where we left off in the last game as the bats came out on fire. The second game was our game from the beginning and we never let up. Going 1-1 on a friday is a great job. Shoutout to Henry Ikrami for going 3-5 with a triple, a ground-rule double, and 6 rbis.

Proud is an understatement for how we feel for these boys. 0-4 last weekend and instead of making excuses and rolling over they came to practice they learned they got better and this is the outcome. The weekend is far from over but these boys should be proud of the way they responded to adversity. Tomorrow our goal is 1-0. Far from finished with this team.

8th grade played in 2 close losses today. Both games we had the tying or lead run on base and just couldn’t push them across. There are days where our bats are hot and days where we struggle. Today i couldn’t be prouder of the way these boys refused to quit and battled to the end. At some point these close losses are going to turn into close wins. These boys know where we are at in the season and where we need to go. Im excited to see what these boys do and how they respond to the slump we are in.
