The boxing event in Mexico topped by
former champions Alfonso Gómez vs José Luis Castillo has been called off after vandals set fire to the ring and gunshots were reportedly heard at the venue. 😳

Noche Suprema postponed its August 29 card at CUM Hermosillo, citing “regrettable acts of vandalism” and concerns for the safety of fighters, staff and fans.

Organizers confirmed everyone involved with the event is safe.

The card is postponed until further notice, with refunds available to fans. 🥊🇲🇽
