Galena Illinois Water Park & Alice T. Virtue Memorial Pool The Galena Water Park offers a zero-depth pool with waterslide, drop slide and children's pool. Both season passes and walk-up daily admissions are available.

Constructed in 1987 with a $350,000 renovation in 2005, the Alice T. Virtue Memorial Pool / Galena Water Park offers residents and visitors outstanding and well kept water park amenities in a picturesque setting. The large zero depth main pool is complemented by a water slide, a drop slide, a diving board, a zero depth children's pool, picnic shelters, deck chairs and loungers and a full-menu concession stand. www.galenapool.com

Congratulations, Reese, on being named Concessions Worker of the Week. This is Reese's second year at the pool, and she recently stepped into a supervisor role. She pays great attention to detail, is friendly and kind. We're so happy she's part of the team. Her favorite concessions treat is a Twix. 🌞 Way to go, Reese!

Julia is this week's Guard of the Week! This was Julia's second year as a lifeguard, and we are so happy to chooses to work at the pool. She's a hard worker who is conscientious and always makes sure her opening and closing jobs are done well. She's fun to be around. Julia's favorite concessions treat is cookies & cream Dippin' Dots.
