Galena Illinois Water Park & Alice T. Virtue Memorial Pool The Galena Water Park offers a zero-depth pool with waterslide, drop slide and children's pool. Both season passes and walk-up daily admissions are available.

Constructed in 1987 with a $350,000 renovation in 2005, the Alice T. Virtue Memorial Pool / Galena Water Park offers residents and visitors outstanding and well kept water park amenities in a picturesque setting. The large zero depth main pool is complemented by a water slide, a drop slide, a diving board, a zero depth children's pool, picnic shelters, deck chairs and loungers and a full-menu concession stand. www.galenapool.com

The pool closed for the 2022 season on Sunday, Aug. 7.

Her positive attitude makes her a fun co-worker. She's willing to fill in as an outdoor safety guard, and she's great at keeping the shelves stocked in concessions.
