OSSA Tennis Academy was established in 2006 and was created to develop High Performance junior players in a smaller boutique environment. OSSA’s founders, Matz Claesson and Vince Pulupa, own more than 40 years of coaching experience combined in the Washington, DC area. OSSA provides a comprehensive program to improve a player's preparation, knowledge, understanding and competitive attitude of the

game. Our goal is to help your son/daughter to successfully transition from the junior ranks to the college level. Because we specialize in junior development from any age or ability, our players are on track to experience outstanding college careers and beyond. While OSSA has gone through some positive changes since 2019, the academy still holds true to its principles. Striving for human excellence is our focus— not the titles. It’s something we believe in and it’s something we practice.

Calla, I am so happy you followed your heart to Ann Arbor. You showed courage in forging a new path and went after what you always wanted from the beginning of this process 2 years ago as a sophomore.

It’s quite fitting that your first unofficial visit was to Michigan and your last official visit was to Michigan— one of the top tennis programs and academic institutions in the 🇺🇸. I know you will represent the Wolverines with first class intentions and actions, and you will bleed Maize & Blue for Coach Ronni and the program.

Words cannot and will never be able to accurately and wholly describe how proud I am of you. Not everyone can say they climbed the mountain to become a scholarship Division I athlete at one of the top programs in the country— but you can. And now it’s on to an even bigger mountain. Can’t wait to watch the journey continue…

We want to congratulate all the players who competed at this year’s Easter Bowl presented by The adi team did a tremendous job as the main sponsor and the activation at registration was incredible!

We want to give special recognition to our 8 athletes in 16s and 18s who represented the academy with class— thank you to several umpires who acknowledged— and congrats to the 3 athletes competing on the last day of the tournament.
