10 years ago today I got the most dreadful news. I can't believe it's been 10 years already. I miss you so much each and every day daddy! I know you're watching over Vik and I and are proud I us in everything we have achieved and will continue to achieve in hockey. Join Tikhonov Training Camp and Behind the Bench Training for a two-day pre-season skills tune-up clinic held at 14424 Albemarle Point Pl. , Chantilly, VA 20151.

Get ready to keep your skills sharpened and be prepared for the beginning of the new season! You will learn to develop lightning-quick footwork and enhanced lateral movement to navigate through tight spaces, slide board balance, agility, reactive quickness, hockey sense, stationary and traveling shooting and skate edge and puck control, while having fun in a fast-paced synthetic ice learning environment.

You’ll need your helmet, gloves, skates, shin pads, elbow pads, stick, water and sneakers.

As days and years go by I wonder what kind of coach to coach and life conversations we would have had. I would have loved to share my work with you more and learn so much from you. The world will never see another coach of your caliber and I will never have my grandfather back. What I cherish is the memories we created and archives that I find along the way. I still learn from you everyday. I wish I was as kind as you and as confident in my craft. Maybe the hockey world isn’t ready for me yet or maybe I just need a chance? All I know is that I will continue to build our Tikhonov legacy because hockey is everything to us! Happy 93rd grandpa! I miss you! Now, more than ever I try to do the right thing and help clean up as much trash as I can. I’ve had such a beautiful connection with nature.
