This month at FTC, we’re focusing on ACCOUNTABILITY — taking responsibility for your actions, effort, and attitude, and doing your part for the team!

In cheerleading, every athlete plays an important role. Accountability means showing up prepared, giving your best effort, listening to corrections, owning your mistakes, and choosing to grow from them.

Great teammates don’t make excuses — they take responsibility, make adjustments, and keep working!

Behind every successful cheerleader is a strong support system and parents play a HUGE role!

Help your athlete thrive by:
- Celebrating their effort and growth, not just placements or skills
- Encouraging them through hard practices instead of trying to fix everything
- Teaching them that mistakes and setbacks are part of getting better
- Speaking positively about teammates, coaches, and the program at home
- Trusting their coaches to coach while you get to be their biggest supporter
- Reminding them that cheer should be something they love
