Sometimes the thing that scares you a little
is the exact thing you’re meant to do. Walking on glaciers, swim in 1celsius and paddle board in a glacier pool? Crazy!

But you choose to do it anyway. Not because you’re fearless.
Because you already know what happens if you don’t. You look fear into the eyes and jump.

Do it shaking. Do it unsure. Do it anyway.

Two years ago I was supposed to swim and SUP on a glacier. We got there and it wasn’t possible. Disappointing.

This year, different company: Alaska Helicopter Tours same dream. I decided to close that loop.

Booked it for Friday. Then it was cancelled, high winds. I was disappointed for about five minutes, then remembered I trust the flow and the universe is always rigged in my favor! I stayed flexible, I used my magic, we shifted plans, stayed one more night in Palmer, and got handed a perfect day instead with a last minute opportunity to for this once in a lifetime experience.

Then came the dry suit. It grips your neck like it’s trying to strangle you a little. I’m the most sensitive person alive about that kind of thing and I genuinely thought “I cannot do this.” Then I remembered: when I want something, nothing stops me. I breathed, calmed myself. Not even a suit trying to choke me on a Paddleboards will stop me!

Walked the glacier to warm up. Got in the water, David jumped, I floated. Wasn’t even cold, which felt like its own small miracle at 1 degree Celsius.

Then paddled straight into the glacier pool. No words. Just awe.

Helicopter in, helicopter out. Not of this world. Many Thanks to Hailee and Sarah our guides!

None of this, the trust, the flexibility, the willingness to stay in my body even when it’s uncomfortable, was always natural for me. It’s something I had to relearn.

Join my KOL·YA circle for my next live Zoom masterclass to hear about my journey and some of my “Body temple” secrets!

Flying with David over Knik Glacier today was a first! Bush plane, the kind that can land almost anywhere. This was David’s last flight, after 3 day Bush plane and Sea plane training with Jon, his instructor from Fly8MA.

What’s unique in that airplane - is its wheels, which allow it to land almost anywhere. We landed in the middle of nature. Made a yummy picnic. Packed up and flew back.

The weather was perfect. My first time in a small bush plane. Watching my hubby fly it. I don’t have words for how special that was.

Thank you Jon from Fly8MA flight school for this experience. It’s not one we’ll forget.

4-Minute Meditation from my Narnia, at Tonsina Trail, Seward, Alaska.

Sometimes all it takes is 4 minutes.

Stop. Breathe. Be thankful.

Even a short pause with the earth beneath you can shift everything.

This is a Connecting with Mother Earth meditation, recorded right here on Tonsina Trail in Seward, after a 5 mile hike. A reminder that stillness doesn’t need to be long to be sacred.

🎧 Press play. Breathe with me.

The Journey to the Depths of Shambhala - a week has passed and while I’m in Alaska now, in a different world, I chose some words to share my feelings.

A spiritual journey isn’t a trip. It’s a journey of the soul.

Strangers became soul family. We’d agreed, long before this life, to walk this path together. And there, after almost 8 days of the journey, closest to the mountain, it hit me: Kailash wasn’t the destination. The path is.

They say Shambhala hides deep within it. I felt it, in moments of surrender and prayer when we were away from Kailash. A world entirely good, entirely light, already exists. It’s waiting for us to choose it.

My heart is full of gratitude.

To Telos Israel and dear Ayelet Segal, who led and held us through every step of this journey. Thank you for opening this door and taking us with you.

To my fellow lightwarriors who walked beside me, held me, and shared this sacred path: Tamir Gadon-Sadot, Jacky R Gold, Nurit Tabenkin and all my new brothers and sisters - I couldn’t have done this without you.

And gratitude to the mountain itself, and to Mother Earth, for holding all of us.

3 day Itinerary for Seward Alaska:
Kayaking the bay, glaciers all around, so quiet.
Whale watching, because you just have to.
One night I slept in a real train car owned by Rodney - look for his airbnb. A completely different experience.
Mornings start with coffee at the harbor, boats right in front of you.
Exit Glacier and Tonsina Trail, two hikes that are each worth the trip on their own.
A small beach near Tonsina trail, just to sit and breathe.
A walk through town itself, Seward is small and beautiful.
Food at The Cookery, a cocktail at Flamingo to close the day. What else a woman need?

Alaska keeps surprising me.

I’m calling you.

Yes, you.

You earned the titles. You made the money. You raised the kids. You collected the rewards, the achievements, the proof that you can do anything you set your mind to.

And somewhere along the way, while you were busy creating and achieving, you left something behind, some pieces of you.

But now, in the quiet moments, you hear it. A soft call from somewhere deep inside you. Kol-Ya - the call of your soul. It’s time to come back.

Back to yourself. Back to the woman underneath all the titles, the layers, the hats.

It’s Safe to be Yourself! exactly as you are, with everything you’ve built and everything you’ve buried.

And it’s time to be surrounded by women who understand. Women on the same path, walking beside you instead of past you.

This is KOL·YA Circle.
It’s free to join. Come before our next live gathering on September 1 - I’ll be hosting a live zoom gathering all about my secrets on how to connect with your body temple! -ya
