I have been struggling to find the right words for over a day now. What is clear is there aren’t any. 💔💔💔

Alan, I will miss our phone calls. When I saw your name pop up, I’d sit down just where I was because I was “busy” for the next hour! 😂

I’ll never forget the first time you called me. I was sitting in Jag’s stall in Cheyenne. Though I didn’t know you, your name was legendary in my mind. I let it ring longer than I should have, unsure what to expect. “Hello, you’re the little girl that rides my horse.” 🤔🤨 I didn’t expect that. 😂😂😂 To know him was to absolutely ADORE him. 🥰🥰🥰

From that day on, I loved him like a grandfather I’d never had in my adulthood. I learned so much from Alan and we talked for HOURS about horses like little kids! We were (are) both fascinated by horses. 🐴

I’m so incredibly sad I didn’t get to have Alan in my life for as long as I wanted, but I’m so truly blessed to have had him for the time I did. 🕰️ He was so incredible to Smokey and actually liked him more than Jag or myself, I’m pretty sure! 🍦😂

I love and miss you so much already Mr. Woodbury. 🥺 I will forever treasure my Belle’s and all you taught me. Fly high and free my dear friend. There will never be another like you! 🥹🥹🥹

Sad news!

Pegasus, one of the top bulls in the PBR, has died after battling an infection, his owner, Cord McCoy, confirmed.

Pegasus, who finished No. 2 in the PBR bull standings in 2026, had surgery this past week after dealing with symptoms from a horn infection. McCoy Ranch announced Sunday that Pegasus had passed away.

"Such an honor to stand behind Pegasus," Cord McCoy posted. "He was an encouragement in life to give it everything you got. Pegasus loved to buck."
