Hey everyone! We’re excited to cosponsor Children Beyond our Borders and participate in their charity event Zumbathon®! It’s a three-hour Zumba “marathon”class with certified Zumba instructors, food, and a raffle. It costs $5 to participate if you sign up before October 23, otherwise the price will bump up to $7. The event is Nov. 6, from 8am - 11am in the Rion Ballroom at the Reitz. All proceeds go directly toward their nonprofit organization that aims to provide opportunities to children affected by armed conflict and social injustices. We’d love to have as many of us participate in this fun event as we can! This is the link to sign up and pay (www.chbob.org/zumbathon). GYFM is co-sponsoring Climb UF's event at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Oct. 24th! This organization is putting on a fun event in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis, a rare genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and deterioration of breathing.

All UF Students should check out Climb UF's organization and their event and consider participating in this awesome event with a purposeful mission!

Some of our dedicated GYFM members spent their Sunday morning helping out at Youth Combine's Triathlon. Such a great event put on by an awesome organization that has made an unbelievable impact on our local Gainesville youth! We can't wait to show our support again at their Spring triathlon!
