It is with a heavy heart to announce that Thunder Nation has lost one of their own. Vince Vassallo passed away yesterday. Vince loved the game of baseball and passionately encouraged his son, Daniel, to be the best player he could be From the early years of travel baseball through Daniel’s senior year of high school. This passion will go with Daniel as he enters college this fall to further his baseball career. We had a lot of great times! We love you Vince! You will be missed!

Check it Out! For the first time in 4 years, the West Florida Thunder Travel Baseball Team is together again at tonight’s Thunder Christmas Open House! Over the course of 6 years from 2009-2015, these boys comprised one of the top youth baseball teams in Florida. The Boys are now Juniors and Seniors in high school and are all key contributors on their respective high school and showcase teams. These boys will be baseball brothers for life!

10 Years ago today Thunder Baseball was Born! Playing in the USSSA Winter State Championship at Fishhawk Ranch. This group consisted of some awesome 7 year old ball players that played up into 8U Kid Pitch the entire year.

Thunder Boys Charles Novick and Chris DiCono at tonight’s Springstead/Land O Lakes Fall Varsity Game.
Charles batted lead off and pitched 3 innings to get the win!
Chris batted second and had an RBI line drive base hit to Right field and a stolen base!
