When I started my NASCAR career in 1981 I could not have imagined where it would take me. The places I've seen and people I've met have been incredible. Those people are now family. My gratitude is larger than that. Those memories will last forever. As you all know when you get bit by that Nascar bug it's hard to shake. Its in your veins. It's your life. Its every breath. Thank you to everyone who helped along the way. Our crew, Volunteers, public relations folks, truck drivers, team mom's and true fans are amazing people and I could not have lived this crazy adrenaline fueled life without you. Last weekend at Darlington Raceway was a very special day for me and my wife. And grateful is actually an understatement. A huge heartfelt thank you to everyone that stopped by to chat and shake hands, thank you and endless gratitude to Garrett Smithley, Brian Berry and Bobby Dotter for putting the amazing tribute together. I am incredibly blessed.
