The origin of the Stupidbaker - Several years ago, I told Alan that I wanted him to build me a hot rod Studebaker. We got started on the project, but along the way, we got sidetracked and ended up building a custom-engineering land speed car based on a Studebaker. Well, now that we are headed to Bonneville for the third time next month, I figured it was time to back to the original project - the hot rod Studebaker is back in the shop and moving forward.

Just because we've been quiet, doesn't mean things are happening. We have been steadily working to get ready for Bonneville Speed Week 2015 on August 8-14. If you're heading to The Salt this year, make sure to stop by and say hello.

Are you heading to the PRI Show in Indianapolis next month? Make sure and stop by the ARP booth and see Stupidbaker. From the Keith Dorton built engine to the chassis and suspension - it's all ARP.
