After 11 hours today, the varsity girls lost two grueling sets (23-25, 22-25) to Buckhorn in the finals of the gold bracket at Sand Mountain Park! We finished 5-1 on the day and had no quit! So proud of our girls for their team effort and energy all day! 🏐🐾

Year in and out the Juanita Boddie tournament in Hoover is a highly competitive tournament with top tier teams from surrounding states joining the best teams in the state of Alabama! With that said, it's my job to challenge our girls and place them in uncomfortable situations at times to show them what it takes to compete at the highest level. We finished 4th in our pool (1-3) and took some sets off some really good teams. Two teams in our pool finished in the top 12 of 80 teams. This level of volleyball pinpoints everything we need to improve on! It's a tough weekend to open up with however we played hard and this sets the bar high for the rest of our season. 🏐👊🐾
