Well, we had quite an interesting weekend at my house! Saturday I was out in the pasture when Mom came to the gate. She called "Woodrow, cookie!!". Well, I was busy making believe the little nubs of grass coming up were long and luschus so I ignored her. So she called again "Woodrow, cookie!" I thought, what did she say? Cookie? I looked up - coming Mom! So I got my cookie she put my halter on and we headed for the barn. Well, we had not gone very far when all of the sudden we heard this very loud strange noise and this little scary alien creature with very long ears and a fluffy head came running up the hill! It ran right in front of us and ran over to Miss Etta's pasture gate. She went over and screeched at it so then it ran to the next pasture gate where Mr. Quinn was standing. He was scared of it (he's scared of everyone - so he goes out alone) and screeched at it so it screamed again and ran to the gate of Mr.Jamison's pasture. Meanwhile Mom and I were still trying to make our way to the barn. I was scared of it but kind of curious. What is it?? It kind of looks like those little ponies pulling carts at Fonda but he sounds like he has that crow vid thing, and he doesn't look like a normal mini pony. Well, Jamison chased him away from his gate so he ran down to see King Kobe and my sister, Silver. We kept heading for the barn and started down the hill and all the sudden King Kobe told it to scram or he was going to eat him. So then it came running really fast down the hill behind us!!! I spun around and it stopped near us. Mom rushed me in the barn. I watched her out my window trying to catch the terrifying little beast. He ran all over until he got tired and Mom caught him. She put him in Silver's pen. I heard Jodi say it was a cute mini donkee. She wanted to name him Pedro. I felt safe in my stall except when it would do that scary scream thing! Anyway, Dad came and said all the naybor's animals were loose and Pedro belonged to them. So Mom and Dad took it back home. Thank goodness. Well, he was kind of cute..... Then Sunday Miss Melissa Suits came and gave Mom a lesson with me. She does something called dress aggge. But she wasn't wearing a dress. Hmm. Anyway we had to do lots of turning and big trot slow trot till I was being good. Then my friend Lisa Dunston came and gave me a mass aggge. Some of it felt really good and some of it ouch!! I fell a few weeks ago and she found the spots that were still sore. I feel much better today. Mom said Mr. Ryan Penno will be here Wednesday to poke me with stuff and float my teeth. Huh? Teeth float? She said not to worry because I will be sleeping while he does it and my mouth will feel better after without sharp teeth. A couple weeks ago a nice man named Ken Whelihan came and gave party lessons for 2 days. I was pretty interested in figuring out his pole to cavatelli canter exercise. I finally got it right after a bunch of tries. Then Sunday he rode me. I never had a man ride me before and I was a little worried when he came over to me with his helmet on, but he was really nice to me. I trotted and cantered for him. He said I was handsome and very smooth. I liked both compliments! I can't wait for him to come back in August. I hope we can jump then! Well, that's all for now. Horse party season is almost here. I am excited! I just hope I can contain myself and behave for Mom. I promise I will try. Here's a picture of Pedro the alien donkee when they were taking him back home. I hope he stays there!!
