The Menter family joined us on Tuesday for an end of summer fishing trip before going back to school. It was their first time fishing Lake Ontario for salmon and trout. They were rewarded with some nice adult kings and some nice steelhead they opted to release, one of which was in the twelve pound class! Good job guys.

We cut the trip short Saturday due to uncooperative fish and some Lake Ontario flu in some pretty rough water deciding to fish a little longer Sunday morning. They got back at them on Sunday catching a nice mix of steelhead and salmon.

We dodged a few rain showers Saturday afternoon in the deep water. A mixed bag of fish with coho,kings steelhead and a lost lake whitefish.

The off shore bite continues to produce all age classes of salmon and some trophy sized steelhead.

Luke joined in on the fun this past weekend and enjoyed some great brown trout and salmon fishing!

Kevin, Lloyd and Jed joined me for the Atomik Invitational again this year. We had a great day fishing with lots of action. Unfortunately we lost a few bigger fish that we needed to upgrade our box. It was a great event and look forward to it next year. Thanks Tom for putting it on.

The Martin crew booked a full day trip yesterday and got to experience a little of everything. Started off looking for kings and managed to catch a few nice adults. Once the fish disappeared we slid in looking for some brown trout and were greeted by some hungry fish. It was a busy day with a nice bonus Atlantic salmon.
