Trout fishing is finally beginning to pick up. With the freeze and high winds it's been the most challenging summer I can remember. We were stopped by game wardens today. As they checked our fish they commented that was the most fish they had seen today. They said only one other boat had 1 fish. I believe fishing will continue to improve as summer progresses.
