I realize this statement is a little late, however, better late than not at all. When I started B*W it wasn’t to get rich, earn a living or even supplement my income. It was for my love of archery, to chase a dream tournament shooting, pass that passion on to Koji and to help offset some of the costs associated with those things. Ultimately that’s what I accomplished, and I have you all to thank for that!
As most of you know I left a job after over 20 years as it was time for me to make a change. For my own physical and mental wellbeing, I felt as though I needed a complete change in careers, so I took a giant leap of faith as a Snap-On dealer. Although I knew it wouldn’t be easy, there just was no way for me to imagine just how time consuming it would end up being. Perhaps I should have anticipated it but I just didn’t until I jumped in with both feet. I’m the driver, scheduler, salesman, stock boy, purchaser, accountant ect.....but at least I answer to myself.
Please know I’m doing the best I can with both. I know there have been many calls and messages that have gone unanswered due mostly to the sheer volume of both. I can assure you I’m not purposely ignoring any of them I’m simply overwhelmed at the moment. I certainly realize many of you have probably gone elsewhere for product or service and it’s ok, I understand. I’d love to be able to say one way or the other the shop will return to normal hours, but the truth is I just don’t know. What I am certain of is that my new career must take priority most days, failure is not an option. My hope is that as time goes by I will become more familiar with the business and get more efficient. Then hopefully things will get easier. Once again,my apologies for any inconvenience and thank you all for the support you’ve given me over the years. I still have plenty of arrows, accessories and a few bows. I will do my best to return messages and calls.
Best regards,
Jim Burdic
