With SDW coming to an end and you think about all of last week and the things you would like to see change going forward. I've got a couple, but let's hear from you. What's something you'd like to see changed or improved on or see evolve at SDW. There's no wrong answers. This is a discussion not a bitch session. You have negative input, keep it to yourself.

Well, what a week. From tech and microd mania on Monday to the final checkered flag last night, dirt week had a little bit of everything. Thursday brought some excitement as we were really slow and off on time in practice. Come time trials we were dialed in. We were fastest in our group locking us in to the top 8 with a chance at the pole. We'd time 5th but with a dq we'd move to 4th. Start on the pole in our heat and drive away until the red flag came out and that would set up a green white checkered. We'd hold on and get the heat win. The car was balanced and needed a little work. We'd make a small change for the feature. Loading in for the feature we'd lose power steering. I pulled the hood off before I went to driver introduction and I saw fluid on the belly pan. I knew it was gonna be tough. We'd start the race and the car was good and I was content on riding and saving my stuff for the last 20 laps or so. The first caution came out and the water temp climbed. It hit 240 fast so we had no choice but to pull in. Power steering fluid all over the front of the motor making the water pump belt slip and not spin was the reason for the water temp. Saved the motor but hurt what could've been a really good day. So much effort goes into making sure we are prepared and every year something new bites us. I did get to do some cool stuff besides drive a racecar this week. I got to help one of my best friends get a top 10 in the 200. I got to hang out with the DTD guys and do the pre race show. One of the coolest things though, was I got to do pit reporting on DIRTVision. Thanks Rich Vleck for inviting me. That was awesome. It wasnt the final results we were hoping for but there's always next year. Thank you to Bryan for the help this week. Can't thank our partners enough for their support. The season isn't over yet. Thank you to all the photographers who capture these moments for all of us.

We made it through tech yesterday and then watched some microd mania. Our on track activities starts Thursday. We're set up just outside of turn 2 where the cars come off the track.
