This past weekend, Senior Michael Roberts (St. Charles, MO) set a few records.

1. He became the SLIAC Conference Champion (St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference)
2. He moved into 2nd all-time in NCAA Division III pin record with his 77th pin. His total is now 79! (This is for a traditional 4 year career; sans COVID year or any other extensions)-see spreadsheet picture.
3. He's the all-time leader in wins and pins for Westminster College Athletics.

Austen's run at the NCAA Division III tournament came to an end tonight in the wrestle backs (round of 12). He finished with a 2-2 record at the tournament (one round short of earning All-American Honors) to cap off a very successful sophomore campaign.

Austen Wetzel fought hard but came up short in his quarterfinal matchup and lost seven to one. He will be wrestling on the backside at least one more time this evening.

A great start to the NCAA Division III Tournament for Austen Wetzel... He was seeded 29th and upset the #4 seed by a score of 9-2 in round 1 to advance to the round of 16!
