Guardian Taekwon-Do teaches families, kids and adults the Korean art of self defense. We have fun, train hard and in forging our bodies and minds also form strong bonds of friendship and community!

As a real & positive step for me moving forward, I announce Guardian Taekwon-Do held it's last class in August just before hurricane Harvey. In some areas I did my best for 11 years and in others I continue to learn. I have been silent, embarrassed and grieved, but while GTKD is gone, I remain and the memory of those I trained for years. I can't let my past drag me down and feel like a failure. I don't know what the future holds, But I do know I don't want the past holding me back from it.

I am honored to have taught so many wonderful students, particularly the children and those eleven students who over the last eleven years earned their 1st Degree and 2nd Degree Black Belts. It is my sincerest hope they left stronger in some way to benefit themselves and others and that they would stay true.

Good-bye Guardian Taekwon-Do.
