Congratulations to our President for being nominated and awarded for the Titans Leaving Their Legacies award last night at Tuffy Awards!
Among many of the contributions he has brought to his team this year, here are the most notable that he will be remembered for after his time with us:
- Helping push fundraising for new jerseys for our team securing us over $1,700 for next year!
- Securing the opportunity to play at Titan Stadium for one of the first times in the teams history, while hosting a Senior Night, giving our players a meaningful memory
- Fostering a long term partnership with the CSUF Division 1 Women’s Soccer program, arranging the opportunity to use some of our members as practice players for their training sessions
- Hosting our first ever media day in team history
- Ran our social media generating over 100k monthly impressions attracting game day attendance, new student interest, and memories for everyone to look back on
- Fostered a relationship with Cal Lutheran’s NCAA program to set up preseason scrimmages with us going forward
- Taking an initiative to ensure we hired a head coach
- Getting us the opportunity to travel and play in 4 different tournaments this season
- Successfully collaborated with another on campus club to volunteer and do charity work together
Javy’s goal was hoping to have left a lasting memory to all of his teammates this year while he was President. In hopes that they enjoyed every opportunity he worked hard for them to experience, and remember that as much as they may have drove him crazy, that he cared for every single one of them. While being grateful for everything this club has given to his college experience!
