JGA of Broward JGA is one of the largest junior golf organizations in the United States and has been serving in the South Florida junior golf community since 1968!

The Junior Golf Association of Broward County, Inc. (referred to as the “JGA”) is a Non-Profit Corporation incorporated under the laws of the State of Florida. The Junior Golf Association of Broward County, Inc was founded in 1968 by junior golf parents, Steve and Olga Purdo. Their mission was to provide their children with a positive and fun-filled activity during the summer months. Over the year

s, many adult and junior volunteers have been dedicated to continuing this mission and have contributed to the success of this program. Junior Golf Association tournaments are held in June, July and August. Up to 400 boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 18 participate in the tournaments. With the cooperation of golf course owners, members and golf pros, the JGA is fortunate to offer tournaments on many public and private golf courses in Broward and Palm Beach counties.

August 2-3, 2025: Check out these highlights from the FSGA Junior Teams Tournament held in Sandridge Golf Club! We are so proud of all our players but special congratulations to the JGA boys team of Oscar Crowe, Henry Crowe and Sebastian Ayala for taking home first place in the Boys 16-18 Division. And congratulations to Gold Coast Junior Golf’s Ashley Balcom, Abigail Lee, and Audrey Bacic for taking home first place in the Girls 16-18 division!
