Does your dog love to run?

Gusto is still an athlete at 7 and running 600 yards at a time...which is not such a big deal when dogs 13 and 14 are still chasing the lure...just not as far.

We are gearing up for our local FCAT competition Eagle's Nest Campground, WVA with the Upper Potomac Valley Kennel Club (UPVKC) June 21 - 23, 2024.

The Upper Potomac Valley Kennel Club (UPVKC) is an AKC Fit Dog Club. We periodically hold Fit Dog Walks along with our Fit Dog Conditioning sessions.

Our first Fit Dog Walk for 2024 is Monday, April 22 PVAA Sports Complex If you can't make this one, come to the same location/same time on May 20.

Want to have more fun? We will also be holding Fit Dog Walks Eagle's Nest Campground, WVA June 21 - 23. Show off your Fit Dog wearing a bikini/speedo or pose au natural to be entered to win a prize. The Steers&Stripes Saloon allows you and your dog to eat outside on their patio overlooking the FastCat track where Fit Dogs will be speeding down a 100 yard track. Come and watch starting at 8:00 AM.

Our Fall Fit Dog Walk will be held September 28 along with AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day back at PVAA Sports Complex

What a great weekend at the Dog Splash! Thanks to the City of Frostburg for allowing us to use the beautiful Community Pool, and to the lifeguards! Thanks to the Upper Potomac Valley Kennel Club volunteers who organized the event! Thanks to the FSU Women's Volleyball and Lacrosse teams for volunteering at the event, and Thanks go out to the members of Phi Sigma Pi at FSU for volunteering both days of the Splash ! AND most important, Thank you to our canine community for joining us in this annual fundraiser! We are grateful for all of the help and support and it WAS a BLAST !!
