Check out this beautiful photo of people preparing for the boat parade last year let’s fill up these boat slips and the lake with some fun! This year Saturday July 4th, we’re excited to announce three categories: Best Decorated, Most Creative, and Liveliest Crew. Stage in at Sanford Yake Cove, also known as the Main Marina. We will start at 2 PM. Please be sure to show up early to get a good spot it is recommended to get in line at 1:30 PM. To participate, simply turn in your phone number, name, and Texas number; we’ll give you a number to display on your boat for the judges to see on the water you are responsible for displaying your number that we assigned you. Every 10th person will receive a $75 gift card when signing up call us @(806)865-3131. Come join the festivities and help make this parade a highlight of the summer!

At Wright On Bait and Tackle, we are proud to display a beautiful banner from the Friends of Lake Meredith. This group is dedicated to organizing and supporting wonderful activities around the lake, but they can't do it alone they need your help! Your generous donations help ensure that cherished community events continue to bring joy and excitement to Lake Meredith. These activities include:
• Movies at the Amphitheater – Gather with friends and family for unforgettable outdoor movie nights under the stars.
• Star Parties – Experience the wonder of the night sky at special stargazing events for all ages.
• Fishing Tournaments – Give kids and families the thrill of friendly competition and the joy of fishing together.
• Monarchs at Alibates – Help us celebrate and protect the magnificent monarch butterflies during their annual migration.

Yes, folks this Boat parade is going to be one you do not want to miss participating in. Thank you so much to BOSS Industrial Solutions and Kel-Tex for their generous sponsorship.  There will be three grand prizes given out for best decorated boat, most creative decorations, and the liveliest crew each. Also the first Boat to register followed by the 10th 20th, 30th 40th and so on will be given a $75 Borger National Bank gift card to be used for whatever you’d like.
