✨ Welcome to the Next Step family, Isabella Gaytán! ✨
We’re so excited to welcome Isabella to our faculty as a new Ballet Instructor!
Get to know Isabella below and help us give her a warm Next Step welcome! We’re so happy you’re here!
Isabella Gaytan was first introduced to ballet at the military base in Sicily, Italy. She later trained at Dance Studio 150 before continuing her pre-professional training at Oklahoma Youth Ballet Day Program. She also spent summers training at the Tulsa Ballet, Little Flower Ballet, and Avant Chamber Ballet. Throughout the years, she has trained with renowned faculty such as Shawn Stevens, Brooke Wendle, Tim Fox, Arlene Minkhorst, Lauren Richter, LJ Nafarrete, Maria Konrad, Yvonne Racz, and Carrie Ruth Trumbo.
While at Oklahoma Youth Ballet, she had the opportunity to perform in numerous classical and contemporary works, study character dance, and take seminars on music and nutrition. She graduated in the spring of 2025 with a UNESCO-CID International Certification of Dance Studies Diploma, and the following summer, she became certified in The Teaching Method of Classical Dance of Agrippina Vaganova.
This fall, Isabella will start her second season with the Avant Chamber Ballet. She is passionate about helping dancers develop the diligence and proactiveness that will allow them to thrive, not only in the studio but throughout their whole life.
