But really, how are you? Be honest. I’m here for it. You can save your “I’m good.” And “can’t complain” for the passerby.

Our lives are totally complex and nuanced and maybe you don’t want to tell me everything. That’s ok.

You don’t have to pretend everything is ok all the time.
You can still smile and enjoy things even when you’re sad about other things.
