Pic 1 - Myself and the man, the myth, the survivor, and the legend John Aharoni (not sure if he has an ig.
We coached at Harvard Westlake School together for the Freshmen team. I learned a lot those years about why challenging and allowing athletes to think for themselves, with guidance from us is extremely important when building better people.
All too often coaches (myself included) give so much feedback by way of telling athletes what to do versus questioning what they are doing to help them understand why... I saw more growth happen with our teams in a small period of time and it was remarkable to learn they're better off in the world because we provided challenges and guidance. Therefore, I tip my hat off to you my friend, and helping me understand more about the possibilities we have as humans to become better everyday.
Pic 2: summer clinics. I can't recall exactly where, but this group of athletes were awesome! Work ethic to the roof for each other, and their willingness to be coachable. This was back in 2015ish and I spent 5:8 hr days training, coaching, and enjoying the blessings that GMS provides us as coaches. Just want to say thank you!
